It is currently not possible to download the MiniProf Criterion app from Google Play Store. Though this was previously possibly, changes in Googles App Store policies now prohibits this. We currently have focus on app development for the MiniProf devices. An overhauled Android app with new features, compatible with the newest Android will be available at a later time.
In the meantime, we refer to the link below for downloading the APK file of the app and then install it manually. When you install the app, your device will require permission to install an external app, which you will need to accept.

MiniProf Criterion
Version 4.0
Important note: Your MiniProf instrument must be running firmware version 4.2.0 or newer to connect to MiniProf Criterion Version 4.0 or later.

If your instrument is using an older firmware version, you have the following options:
Firmware upgrades are automatically included as part of a standard service and re-calibration, whether performed by us or your local MiniProf agent.
If needed, you can also send in your instrument specifically for a firmware upgrade, without a full service.

If your instrument’s firmware has not yet been updated, you can keep using MiniProf Criterion Version 3.0 for Android, which remains fully compatible with older firmware.
To install this version:
- Download the APK file.
- Follow the installation guide for step-by-step instructions.
If you have already installed MiniProf Criterion 4.0 on your Android device and need to downgrade to Version 3.0 for compatibility reasons, simply:
- Download the Version 3.0 APK file.
- Reinstall the app following the installation guide.

Do you need an upgrade?
We are constantly improving our software, and MiniProf Envision and MiniProf Criterion are our newest applications.
The MiniProf for Windows and MiniProf for Pocket PC software packages are no longer being maintained or supported and, in addition, operate only on Win7/Win8.1, which have not been supported by Microsoft since 2020/2023. If you are still using the old software, we recommend upgrading to the new and improved MiniProf Envision and Criterion software.
