Legal Proceedings Against Measureroad ApS

Greenwood Engineering A/S has filed cases against Measureroad ApS for intellectual property infringement, trade secret misuse, and misleading marketing. The dispute began in March 2023 with a search order to secure evidence, followed by an infringement lawsuit in December 2023.

Greenwood has requested further search disclosures for potential copyright infringements in the seized evidence, following receipt of an initial portion of documents showing significant storage and use by Measureroad of documents belonging to Greenwood.

Infringement Lawsuit

Greenwood has added former employees Kåre Sloth Jensen and Lasse Høi to the court case, directing the claim for injunction and payment of damages against them personally as well, based on evidence from the seizure and the valuation report.

Oral hearing scheduled for 8–10 March 2027.
No mediation sought due to the nature of the dispute.

Greenwood files a lawsuit against Measureroad with the Danish Maritime and Commercial Court, alleging IPR infringement, misappropriation of trade secrets, and damages.

Oct 2024
District Court finalises the scope of permissible material for the search report, despite Measureroad’s objections.
Measureroad appeals to the High Court, which upholds the continuation of the handover of secured documents but requests clarification from the District Court, distinguishing between evidence of existence vs. extent of infringement. Measureroad is ordered to pay the appeal costs.

Greenwood submits expert questions to court-appointed independent expert. Expert opinion will form the basis for the court’s assessment.

12 May 2025
Sheriff’s Court decides certain documents shall be handed over to Greenwood.
Measureroad appeals to the High Court, which upholds the handover of documents, confirming that the securing of evidence was justified.
Measureroad applies for extraordinary appeal to the Supreme Court, but the application is rejected. Measureroad is ordered to pay costs.
