SEPTEMBER WEBINAR:

Maximize the output of your MiniProf measurements and Envision analysis - Free webinar sessions

MiniProf TwinHead systems & Equivalent Conicity calculation

29 September 2021 at 8:30 or 15:00 (CET) OR 30 September 2021 at 8:30 or 15:00 (CET)  |  Duration: 30 min

With trains going faster every day, there is an increasing demand for better travel comfort as well as insurance of a high degree of safety. For this purpose, it is very important to look at the wheel and rail interaction, studying how the contact geometry behaves.

The full contact MiniProf TwinHead instruments make it possible to obtain an extremely accurate relationship between the two profiles on a wheel axle or a track. This is especially important when analyzing running characteristics for rolling stock using for instance equivalent conicity studies.

Join this free webinar and learn the benefits of the MiniProf TwinHead instruments and how to easily calculate equivalent conicity using the MiniProf Envision software.

What’s covered:

  • Difference between the MiniProf single head and TwinHead instruments.
  • Benefits of the MiniProf TwinHead instruments.
  • Calculations related to MiniProf TwinHead instruments
  • How to perform equivalent conicity calculation.
  • Batch processing for TwinHead profiles.

Note: This webinar does not explain or cover how the results of equivalent conicity calculations or rail/wheel interaction studies should be interpreted, but rather how you can calculate and trust the results using a MiniProf TwinHead system.

The webinar is designed to provide the attendee with effective tips and tricks on how to benefit from the many opportunities in the Envision software. It is a great and easy way to gain more knowledge about the various functionalities, including how to optimize your time and efficiency, how to customize the various setting to match your specific requirements and how to get the most out of your collected measurements.

Each webinar will be conducted in English and will last approximately 30 minutes. At the end of each session, there will be time for follow-up questions. All sessions may be recorded for future use and distribution.
